Her culinary adventure began at the Boston Red Sox stadium, where she started as a beginner pastry cook. Within just a year, her dedication led to a promotion to Pastry Supervisor. In 2017, she moved to Jacksonville with her husband, where she further refined her skills at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club under the guidance of a renowned chef. Seeking new challenges, Cezie joined the Sawgrass Marriott as a Pastry Supervisor, expanding her network and expertise. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, she pivoted by starting her own cottage cake business, unexpectedly building a loyal following and lasting friendships. As the pandemic eased, Cezie accepted an offer to oversee the pastry department at the Sawgrass Country Club, prompting her to reconsider her career goals. Returning to Sawgrass Marriott, she rose to the role of Assistant Sous Chef, overseeing pastry operations as well as events and restaurant functions. Despite her busy schedule, Cezie's passion for learning and innovation never waned. She embarked on a new adventure in nursing while juggling her responsibilities as a nursing assistant and part-time student. Alongside her nursing pursuits, she continues to manage her thriving cake business and support friends and fellow chefs in their culinary ventures.
